Buy these to stay Warm

Wore the Encounter 200 Fleece Bottoms last week to Hunt Bear & Deer. Temps down to 12 degrees in morning & lots of wind. Stayed warm over multiple days. Not uncomfortable or sweating when walking either. Looking to buy another pair for backup

Warm and Very Comfortable

First I will talk about the fit which is always an issue for me wearing KUIU. I bought the XXL which Is my usual size, but they were a pretty baggy fit. I bought XL this time and the fit was very good for me at 5'11" and 215 pounds. I am right around a 39" waist and have lost some weight in the last year. So this was one time where the size guide was more correct for me than usual. Now about the comfort. It feels great against your skin. Very soft fleece against your skin and a polished external surface that makes putting on pant easy with no drag or catching on the pant fabric. While these are a mid weight, I have been using them below freezing temperatures and find them nearly as comfortable as heavy weight base layers without the bulk. I have been able to wear these under Axis Hybrid pants down to freezing and under Gale Force pants into the 20s. They also do a good job and getting rid of sweat while active and not holding scent. These will be a permanent part of my layering kit for cold to frigid temps.

This was my first purchase ever from kuiu these fit me great. They are very comfortable and warm. Perfect for those cold sits I was warm sitting in 20 degrees all day.
