This yarn is uniquely twisted of cotton with a poly nylon net wrapping creating a textural finish yet with a soft hand. Suitable for hand loom knitting 3–5-gauge, crochet, and hand knitting.

Not as soft as I hoped
I have to admit that I'm disappointed in the cone of Rapids I recently bought. I was hoping for a rather rustic, linen-like yarn, which it is, but it feels very plastic-y. I will probably use it to crochet a sun hat.
