It does what it says it’ll do! Amazing curls! Takes a but of practice but even my first try it worked and I am not a skilled hair person. However, if you want to try the unicorn style, the rod has a flat piece in the middle. It still works as far as I can tell. My har goes down to my waist, I think I could have still used the regular size one. Theres plenty rod left over.

This did nothing for my hair

I have long, thick, wavy hair and bought these to add some definition to my hair, since the ad says it's like a blow-out without the heat. Sorry but no. This set did absolutely NOTHING for my hair, no definition, no curl, nothing. Also, it was uncomfortable to sleep with since you just use a clip at the top of your head to keep the satin tube in place. Could have dealt with it if the result was nice, but like I said, the result was... nothing. Might as well have slept with my hair in a pony tail.

Ineffective

Having loved the smaller heartless curling set, for which my hit outgrew, I decided to upsize. Unfortunately the performance on this size has been very poor with my hair. Locks are lifeless and close to the bottom of my hair (chest length), looking unnatural and even crimped. The tool doesn’t even stay put in my hair without a clip at the top, which when used creates undesirable and out of place volume.
