The splitter arrived quickly and assembly was seamless. Honestly have only split about a chord of Oak since purchasing. So far it’s performing as advertised. Test will come once it cools off a bit and it’s used more frequently.

Exceeds Expectations

I was pleasantly surprised by this product. Based on the price-point some compromises were expected, however quality and performance surprised me. On the plus side: top notch crating job, heavy welds with good penetration (if a little ugly), wheels have auto-type tapered roller bearings with seal and cap (greaseable and adjustable), extra large wood tray (a must have), slices through oak knots like they are butter, no leaks, no problems. Only two minor issues: Choke/Run label was applied backwards leading to a LOT of cord pulling on first startup until I figured it out (Briggs & Stratton issue) and one wheel ran out-of-true which was promptly replaced as an assembly by Oregon with no questions asked.
