Great unit - too bad the app is terrible

Unit was packed well and does exactly what it says. The screen is clear and easy to understand. There's no real design issues other than the suitcase handle feels a little wobbly. The only issue is the app is terrible. Bluetooth is intermittent, an online account is required even for Bluetooth connectivity, and it's required to set up WiFi monitoring. While the estimated charge time is accurate, the estimated discharge time is buggy, often deciding to report anywhere from 2 days of power delivery to 29 days, and anywhere in between. Good thing it's not required for the unit to actually work properly.

best bang for the buck

i got the Mega 5 to keep my Mega 3 + B2 company and they are now besties. when we have an outage, having two systems will allow me to split the load - one for the kitchen - one for the bedroom (tv + AC) - Mega 5 is great and has enough power to handle the kitchen for a few days, which is perfect for my needs. before this we had one system (titan 12k - 240lbs) and wires all over the place. plus the Mega 5 cost about the same as one titan 2k battery. insane cost and i saw every review on the 5, now im daring the power to go out. cant wait till hurricane season.
