The Celestron Adapter works well with precise rack and pinion adjustments to the phone position in the X and Y axes and in the Z (in and out) position. Bigger and heavier than other standard adapters so perhaps not the best for a small starter scope but good for a larger scope on a solid mount.

Hi Dan, I'm enjoying the smart phone adapter very much. It's a great product. The flexibility to adjust the phone in 3 different axis while in its seat is awesome.

Seems like a quality tool. Haven’t tried its functionality yet but fits good on the eyepiece.
