The Shark guard is top quality, a work of CNC art. I would allow yourself around 1 hour to install the Shark guard, drilling the swing arm and installing the riv nut is the way I went. Looks great though as do all of Gogo’s products.

As explained in the youtube video the rear tire has to be removed to drill the hole. Without the proper rivet tool i found very difficult to install the threaded rivet, it requires a lot of power to compress the rivet once is inside the 11mm hole, hopefully i compressed it enough! The video Eric posted in youtube is super useful and the Shark guard is machined very precisely, high quality. I suggest to get a spare M8x30 screw in case you span the given screw while compressing the threaded rivet. Thank you Eric for sharing with us your knowledge and products.
