Being over 70 years old, the notion of upgrading my Series 2 Superduke after 110,000 kms to the '26 1390 Evo was a simple and very rewarding propostion, once I purchased the Ride Height & Chassis Tool, Super Short Lowering Link and Super Jacks .. My main concern at upgrading to the 1390 Evo was how tall the bike was, but using Eric's tools and taking a careful route to measure and modify both the rear & front end to maintain trail dimensions, meant that I could achieve the best of what the 1390 Evo had to offer at my stage of physical agility and strength. I can now straddle the bike for city use with ease (lower the forks 10mm, with 'Auto Low' at the rear) then for spirited riding in the hills, I set the rear to 'Auto High' which allows the bike to turn in easier in the twisties. I am not using the bike as a Track Weapon, but I am now enjoying a broader application of the bike's use inside and outside of the city limits. I am planning some Interstate runs on the 1390 Evo later this year, as the Engine, its Ergonomics (& Fly Screen) and the Comfort Setting in the suspension also makes it to be a proper mile muncher and a great all-rounder.
