MAGIC AI: Fitness Smart Mirror

Delivery and customer service have been excellent. The mirror was quick to set up and the training options available with Magic+ are exceptional. My first morning of beginner exercises offered me the opportunity to do a 15-minute speedy full body workout which felt like the perfect energising way start to my day. It was easy to follow and broke me in gently. I also included a 30 minute arms and shoulders workout and with the option to choose light/medium/heavy dumbbell weights I was able to tailor it to suit my beginner level. It made me realise how much I need to do to improve my strength as whilst I could manage the weights the final plank/knee exercise was outside my capabilities and I kept disappearing from the mirror’s zone so work needed in both areas. The mirror is currently leaning against the wall so hopefully the latter issue will be resolved when the mirror is wall mounted. A final session of breathing to bring my heart rate down was exactly what was needed and I felt I had achieved a huge amount on day one, all in c. 1 hour in the comfort of my own home. The instructions were clear and easy to follow and I’m now looking forward to improving my technique as well as my fitness levels. Really impressed with the product and looking forward to day two.

The product was very well packaged although the ‘White Glove’ unboxing was farcical and a complete waste of time (& money.) The mirror was straightforward to set up - until it required bank details and possible subscription to proceed - work around on Google and YouTube did not work. However, an email to Magic was quickly answered and explained why this was necessary. I also have free lifetime membership which couldn’t be better - amazing deal! I saw a photo of the mirror on a portable (TV) stand with a set of smart weights below and this is the setup I now have due to limited space. The mirror is now extremely easy to move around on my wooden floors despite actual exercise space being a minimum. I was quite skeptical at first as the initial recommended workouts did not suit my physical capabilities due to chronic injuries. (There has been some criticism written about the lack of an option to enter a physical injury etc, but I do understand the rationale why this is not possible.) However, after having my excellent free introductory consultation chat with Dharmesh I took his advice and proceeded to start with the AI daily exercise recommendations - and haven’t looked back! I now look forward to and complete the daily workouts before proceeding to other ones- depending on energy & time. I am therefore completing exercise routines I would never normally do, whilst thoroughly enjoying them. I do find the speed of the exercise instructions irritating; there is little time to suddenly turn your exercise mat and face other directions or select different weights but if the exercises are repeated at least you know what’s coming and plan ahead: you can also easily pause the session or go backwards to repeat the last section. The tracking is quite good and the sensitivity of this can also be adjusted whilst in the class, depending on your preferences. In all, a really positive experience. Relatively straightforward setup, the opportunity to have a video chat with the company representative/owner, a fantastic choice of personal trainers & instructors with a extensive choice of exercise and wellness sessions: what’s not to like!! Multiple family members using it and all motivated and impressed. Had a few months and been at least 2 updates with lots of new exercises. Been in touch with support.
