2018 Silverado 1500 with 8L90

My 2018 Silverado has over 185k miles with the stock engine and transmission. Over the years I have replaced the thermal bypass valve and changed the transmission oil and filter every 25-30k miles. Doing this has helped me keep the transmission cool and running smoothly. Recently my transmission started running well over 195 degrees. So I changed the thermal bypass valve with PPE’s full flow valve and my transmission temperature has stayed below 150 degrees. PPE’S valve made a big difference in my transmissions operating temperature and it might just get me past 200k miles.

2016 Yukon XL Denali - Perfect

Excellent product. Installation was easy and well explained. Bypass seems well built. I haul trailers near the limit of the truck regularly, and have definitely seen the transmission temps drop. It used to run around 200, now runs 170-180. Wish I would have put this on years ago.
