Worth the upgrade

Trans temps ran about 180Degs. With the bypass the trans temps are now 140deg..even on a hot day. And the enemy of any transmission oil is heat. And remember why the trans thermostat was installed....because of CAFE standards.

Works as advertised!

This is a beautifully functioning improvement that gives one a piece of mind when it comes to avoiding a potential catastrophic transmission failure due to overheating. Quick installation and 30* drop in operational temperature. I highly recommended this upgrade.

2016 Ram 2500 6.7 Cummins w/68rfe

The thermal bypass paired with the deeper pan, towed 9k from Sacramento to Coos Bay Oregon. I don’t think my transmission ever reached 160. Very very pleased with my purchase from PPE. Cooled my transmission down greatly. And with their upgraded spin on filter, truck is shifting like butter!
