2020-2026 GM 3.0L w/ 10L80 Transmission - Transmission Fluid Thermal Bypass Valve

Works Great as Described

Bought the whole transmission set up for my 10L80 which included the cooler, valve, and pan. Will say because of the location of the part, this was the more difficult of the 3 to install, but it still wasn’t challenging. Dropped the transmission temp from 196 to never going above 145 even while towing in the summer heat. I will be buying PPE products for my 2014 Silverado next.

2025 GMC Sierra

Installed the Transmission Fluid Thermal Bypass Valve and PPE Transmission Pan. Transmission temp used to be 195 to 205 degrees F. I drove 200 miles along the Gulf Coast on a 95 degree day and the hottest it got was165. Big difference!

I had a deep PPE pan, and this bypass valve installed at the same time. I have noticed the temperature is approximately 10 degrees cooler than before. I'll be honest, I was hoping for more; however, the rate at which it cools down is excellent. It goes from 195 to 170 really quickly. NEVER did that before.
