It seems good? 3 days running and counting...
It seems good so far? Eufy asked me for a review 19 days after purchase, which is a bold move considering that includes shipping time and the time it took me to actually get around to installing it. 😄 That said, it’s been up and running for about three days now.
So far, I’m impressed. It’s surprisingly quiet when moving and delivers noticeably better image quality than the S3 Pro it replaced (which is still going strong—just got reassigned to a less action-packed location). Mechanically, it should drift downward less than the S3 Pro designs as well.
Setup was quick and painless, though I did notice it skipped mentioning a few post-setup tweaks—like disabling the high volume alarm in the “smart” section of the app. Would definitely prefer that to be silent by default and send high importance notifications instead.
At this point, it feels right in line with the high standards we’ve come to expect from Eufy. After years (Dec 2024?) of using S3s and the HomeBase, we’ve recently added the S1 Pro and E15 to the mix as well. No complaints yet there either—Dev and QC teams, keep doing your thing 👍
I'll try to remember to update if there's anything drastic that changes our impression, but no guarantees since I don't usually leave reviews in the first place.

From stationery to moving!
We purchased the SoloCam S340 so we could get a wider range of motion.. And it doesn’t disappoint! We already had the SoloCam S220, which still work fine in their designated spaces. If you are on the fence about the S340, it does a great job tracking a wider area with crisper images. And no monthly bill for extra security is important!

Far superior to the Eufy Billet cams I bought a few years ago.Overall, all of the products have been reliable and well designed. I've had One camera completely fail after all of the purchases I made (a single Wired 3 SpotLight setup. The battery life on these SoloCam 340s is superior to anything I've seen to date and the AI attached is responsive. The only Issue I have with any of them is a lag between movement and display, seems like about 10-15 seconds.
