Oru Inlet Sport

Great portable kayaks!

This is my third Inlet and first Inlet Sport over 4+ years now. I highly recommend these kayaks for the amazing portability, quick setups, and how they handle in the water for a kayak of this length. I have a couple minor points for Oru to consider: The soft rubber edging around the bulkheads gives in and makes it somewhat difficult to push them quickly and properly in the channels. A harder outer edge on the bulkheads would make them easier to install. Also, some sort of portable cap at the bow end of the rails might prevent a possible scrape on the hands. So far I don’t see a use for the rails on the Sport since anything mounted in them would be in the way of paddling. Minor points aside, I love my Oru kayaks and many of my friends have purchased them after going out on the water with me. The portability and being able to quickly and easily get out on the water are the main reasons we have purchased them. I highly recommend them! (And the Mistridge color of my Inlet Sport is stunning. )

Everything I was looking for. I struggle a bit with the front zipper during assembly but that is the only challenge. Have used twice so far and the only thing stopping me from more frequent use has been the wind speeds.
