Executive Bracelet (Seiko SPB15x "Willard")

Calling the Seiko SPB15X "Willard" is a misapprehension of Seiko's watch. The only "Willard" is the 6105-8119 and even Seiko does not claim that the SPBI5X is the "Willard" but that it is a copy. I have the 6105-8119 and was egregiously disappointed to discover the Executive doesn't fit. I bought the Executive Bracelet expecting that it would fit my 1974 "Willard" 6105-8119 only to discover that I had to grind down the ends of the end links as well as part of the inside of the end link to make it fit. Perhaps I should have returned the bracelet but I liked it and decided to make it fit. UNCLE should stop describing the bracelet as a fit for the "Willard" since there are still quite a few of us out there who own that classic watch. At least not that the bracelet will not fit the original "Willard." I do appreciate that you could supply me with two spring bars.

I was disappointed to find that you could not fit a new ratchet buckle on this bracelet - it had one of those integral attached clasp ends so you appear to be stuck with the buckle it came with -just like the Z199. It is a shame as it is a good bracelet and light to wear.
