Hardwired is the only way to go! Subscription is well priced, performance mode is faster than most all other competitors, cell communication is consistent and accurate, easy to conceal the device as long as at least one side of the area is non-metal, and you never need to worry about charging the device battery. I give it 5 Stars!

I used Mini trackers for couple of years now and recently purchased the hardwire one thinking that I can now have it monitor without worrying about charging the unit. Because I still had 20 day left on the mini subscription, i left the mini in the same truck that I installed hardwire one. The hardwire tracker loses signal too often. Mini will move and track but hardwire one goes into syncing for 20~30 mins at a time. This is not what I expected. i changed out 2 trackers to hardwire but I dont have same confidence as the mini one. Not sure if this is hardware problem or data chip problem but its not looking pretty.
