TourMaster Draft Air Jacket

Draft Air Mesh Air Jacket for Dual Sport Riding.

I recently purchased a 2XL black TourMaster Draft Air jacket on sale for under $100. Very happy with the jacket for that price; would not wanted to have paid the more common $150 I often see that jacket sell for in 2024 and 2025. Pros - Good Armor (CE-2 level) in elbows and shoulders and have not found it bothersome, very breathable mesh for most of jacket area - still has more abrasion resistant outer arms, shoulders and lower back, 3 zippered pockets on front, one water proof cell phone pocket inside for mid sized phone, and a large rear lower back level rear zippered pocket for extra munchies, maps, etc., some reflective stripes, and fit is pretty true to size on shoulders and arms, and sleeves are long to a tad extra long length (good for bike use), and good coverage of lower back area with back of jacket. Cons - found the inner removable rain and wind liner to be rather thick and bulky compared to other brands - will use other thinner one I have instead even without the snaps fitting right, find the fit a little under sized in chest and belly compared to other brand 2XLs (I am 6 ft 1 in., 215 with 34 inch arms and 47 inch chest) - can only get one extra thin to medium layer under this jacket besides a t shirt, low profile collar does not provide much sun or rain protection and not good on the looks side, for me at least. Other Comments - The non-zipper sleeve cuffs are okay - using just Velcro instead, but likely would not be as sturdy in event of a crash as zippered. The back armor is not rated and I took it out to cool the jacket for my slower speed mostly off road riding - but a good sized pocket to house other back armor. The good price and having an extra mesh for mostly off road exploring; more dirt, dust and sweat, and more likely to tumble, than street riding and where fashion is not an issue, is well worth it too me. And I can keep and protect my nicer looking and more expensive other mesh for street riding on a different bike.
