Daiwa Fuego LT Spinning Reels

Nice reel and just the right size. Small enough for an ultralight or light rod. Very smooth and performs well. Kind of a light drag weight, the 2500 has twice the drag for the same price, but for my needs the 2000 is the correct choice.

I bought one of these four years ago, as a back up reel to my Shimano Stradic. I now own 4 of these and no longer fish with the Stradic. These Fuego’s have been my go to for crappie fishing since. They are simply a smoother reel than the Shimano at a much lower price. The drag system is good and lets you fight larger fish without damage to the reel.
