Neolucida works but takes a lot of effort
Honestly haven’t spent much time with it but I have the measure of its function. My issue: it isn’t as portable as I’d like in the sense that there is significant setup and positioning required. So far (in my limited experimentation) I find that I’m better served standing and looking down into the prism - which really is tiny. To be fair, I read that in the description and I read the reviews. I was looking for it to enable me to set up on the fly and sketch into an A5-sized pad and/or into a traveler’s notebook for personal entertainment and on larger boards for courtroom sketches at work.
Seems a quality built instrument and I will keep experimenting until I find the sweet spots.
I will follow up after some more work.

Help!!!
Viewer does not work like I thought. All I can get out of it is just an image that move around if you move your head, any image moves and then what you draw is completely squiggly and crooked. But maybe IViewer does not work like I thought. All I can get out of it is just a image that move around if you move your head, any image moves and then what you draw is completely squiggly and crooked. Maybe I don’t know how to make it work? Help?

a very cool and handy device
I bought it on December 4, 2025, and it arrived on December 18, 2025. I unpacked it immediately, and it's exactly what I expected. It's a small, handy device for drawing at home and in the field. I made my first test drawing right away, and the proportions are correct. Is it easy or difficult? It's all a matter of practice, and practice makes perfect. If you expect NEO LUCIDA to draw for you, it's not for you. Only those who persevere will be rewarded with results. I wish you happy developing your talents with NEO LUCIDA ;)
