It seems Simms is moving away from the traditional guide style fishing shirt that we have worn here in the west for years. This shirt is available in only two colors and only one is what I would consider a subdued color. I purchased two of them and they are very nice. The material has a different feel from guide shirts in the past, but it still has all the pockets I need on the river. Reviewing their catalog, you can clearly see that Simms is moving in a new direction.

A great everyday shirt

I bought my first Guide Fishing Shirt almost two years ago. They are comfortable, durable, hard to wrinkle, and have a good selection of pockets for my everyday items. I wanted to purchase more immediately, but the shirts were only available in blue, tan, or green at that time(all of which I had plenty of shirts in). Recently Simms brought on prints, and what I call peach. I would love to see more variations!! I love the print I received, but the peach was out of stock. Simms has assured me that they will let me know when it is available. Great apparel and a solid company.
