I was looking for a Chelsea boot shape that looked elegant, something with a slightly elongated and tapered shape - it's harder than you think to find that kind of style at a price point that isn't absolutely eye-popping. After a long search, I finally came across Beckett Simonon for the first time, and was delighted (but a little skeptical) I had finally found the kind of shoes I was looking for at a reasonable price, especially for the quality and characteristics they were claiming. I put in an order but told myself not to expect too much. But then, the shoes arrived - and you just simply cannot deny the quality of these boots. I love my boots. Even the level of customer service is elevated to match the quality of their shoes - the handwritten note, the fact that they highlight the artisan who makes your shoes. It all comes together to create a feeling that these are folks who really care about what they're doing, and care about doing it well. As long as the company keeps these principles and this ethos alive, I will continue to keep purchasing from them and supporting them with my money. I see you, Beckett Simonon! I would love for them to expand into more women's shoe styles - maybe some modern heel options?

Exquisite boots

These boots were exquisitely designed and made. Sadly for me, my feet are between sizes, so they didn’t fit. In spite of my disappointment, I recommend these boots for their stylishness and the quality of their production.
