6, 7, 8 Speed Chains

Wippermann nickel-and-stainless chains are the only ones that don't corrode near the ocean where I live. They stay shiny even with hot wax in a harsh environment. I use the 6/7/8 chain on 7-speed freewheels from Sachs Maillard with Campagnolo derailleurs, Sunrace freewheels with Suntour, and Dura-Ace 7401 with SRAM 8 speed cassettes. Shifting is positive and crisp on each platform and durability is superb.

I wanted the best chain for my Atlantis touring bicycle. The Connex/Wipperman 8SX was my choice. Cantitoe Road (Cyclery) provided the chain quickly at a competitive price.
