OzNexis Zigbee Light Switches

I've tried some smart switching over the years including WiFi based ones from various manufacturers. But this generation of OzNexis series is so far the best combination with stylish look, robust construction, compatibility an features I have tried yet. I'm sick of flashing custom firmware or putting up with walled gardens and third party cloud systems. I had no issue getting these going on my existing ZigBee network without needing the special app to provision them, and all features are exposed over Zigbee2MQTT (my choice with Home Assistant and my ZigBee Coordinator) including individual gang background LED colours, On LED colour and brightness control, child lock (I don't need this, but great idea, I will find a usecase) OzSmarthings support via e-mail are happy to promptly respond to questions too. So far a win win, the next thing to see is how these fare over the years, prior manufactures I've had failures like LEDs failing etc etc, whereas these look decently engineered, so time will tell.

Proceed with caution for Home Assistant users

Do your homework in these devices as they won’t work cleanly and reveal the switching entity with ZHA. Advice from researching has been received from Home Assistant AU / NZ forum that one must utilise Zigbee to MQTT integration and coordinator. I’m following up on a Matter option instead. Do your own checking prior to purchase.

Great device and service.

The switch works brilliantly. Easy to set up and functions well. Looks amazing. Highly recommend Oz Smart Things for any of their fully certified power products.
