An excellent come of the 2020 edition of Ripples. The controls handle beautifully, the range of ways you can shape a simple square or sawtooth wave with this is wonderful, and it's a really beautiful analog sine-wave VCO as well. I love that the low-pass output has a built-in VCA. There's a lot of expression you can get out of this thing; it's arguably more important in defining the sonic character of a classic subtractive patch than the VCO itself. After Later Audio's visual design on this is great as well; it preserves the original module's layout and readability but also fits in with ALA's unique, almost art deco aesthetic
