Park Tool DT-5.2 Disc Brake Mount Facing Set | Precision Facing for IS, Post & Flat Mounts

The fact this tool exists, shows a problem in the industry.

I was able to re-machine two frames and a fork. I don't understand why this tool needs to exist in 2025, with frame and component prices what they are, but that's the reality. I believe the fork was an anomoly. Both frames were steel, one Ritchey, one Fairdale. Both made in Taiwan and most likely by the same builder. Anyway, this tool works. I'm a machinist and it took me 2 hours to get a fork perfect. My friend is an insurance adjuster and spent 20 minutes getting a frame "good enough".
