If you try to use the portafilter under the dispenser coffee gets everywhere. I had to modify the brace and use a dosing cup - one more step - to keep from making a huge mess. It grinds very well but it is really hard to see the numbers on the dial and it keeps spinning past 0 making it a bit difficult at first to set up and find the right grind level.
