FIRST TRY WAS A FLOP
It was not a great 1st try. I sanded my project to 150 grit and per Rubio direction I water pop my quarter sawn white oak. I applied the finish with a red scotch pad due to raised grain. The finished looked very blotchy when applied. I wipe off all the excess finish. The next morning I looked at the table and it was just awful so I took my sander out and I sanded the finish off and try it again.
This time I sanded to 150 grit and did not water pop.
I used my orbital sander with white scotch pad to work the finish in. The finish looks much better and the rays in the grain really popped. The jury is out if I’ll use the product again. I like my home made Maloof furnish. It not as fast as the Rubio but it’s a beautiful finish.

Great Color
It’s a great color on white oak! Haven’t tried it on other stuff yet.
It seems like a mix between cotton white and mist, with a little grey thrown in, but ends pretty neutral. I like that the pigment doesn’t seem to highlight the grain like some other colors.
Obviously same great Rubio quality!
I would love it if this became a permanent color option. But if not, I’ll enjoy it while it lasts!

NATURAL COLOR PERFECTION!
Easy to apply, covered in one coat and it gave me the natural color I was hoping for on white oak.
