I still don't know if I like the look of the 89. However, you can't deny it's an imposing beast! Operating a 2000s era ECML layout, it was a no brainer to purchase one of these, and I definitely don't regret it. The fit and finish is flawless. The model captures the scale and weight of the prototype perfectly and the livery is the best we've seen for GNER. Now if only the 'other guys' would make the earlier matching Mk4s to run behind it...

What a locomotive, I think this is best loco yet Accurascale have done and that’s hard to say because all their previous models have been magnificent

Accurabuzz!

The detail in this model makes my Hornby Class 91 that’s not even ten years old, look completely vintage! I like the extra effort that’s gone into the paper manuals and the attention to detail with the box artwork too, gives a premium feel. We’ve had Accurathrash, this is Accurabuzz! In the future I’d like to see pantograph and third rail arcing, you can call it Accuraspark, if smoke generators are ever part of the range, you have to call it Accuraclag!
