Excellent sound, but the extras add up

he Accurathrash speaker produces a powerful, clear and much fuller sound when paired with a LokSound decoder. However, it does not include the clips needed to hold it in place, which cost an additional £1.50. It is also disappointing that the speaker itself costs £14.95 on top of Accurascale’s £114.95 sound decoder. The complete sound upgrade therefore becomes expensive compared with buying the locomotive sound fitted from the outset.

Great Sound

Purchased this as a spare for the next Accurascale DCC Ready loco I might buy. Sometimes hard to get (inc the 4 Ohm version) so added one to my last order to maximise postage cost. And of course, the main reason is great sound.

Can you hear the growl??

This speaker captures the essence of the class 37 for which it was purchased. It was straightforward to fit, thanks to the lift out roof panel, and the sound is first class.
