Immediately loved the malty thickness. Like the mineral flavor in buttermilk pancakes from Denny's for me. Also a bit of cooked fruit like persimmon. Great deal, the first tong I've ever bought!

Sweet, smooth, clean

I really enjoyed this tea. It's sweet and smooth and comforting. It's also very "clean" without any funky or overly fermenty flavor. I'm really bad at picking out flavor notes, but I think I'd say to me it had hints of cooked fruits - maybe like orange marmalade. Very pleasant lingering sweetness too. Incredible value!
