Helmet hooks works great, Stay flat against the wall like advertised. Used with two different brand helmets Alpinestars and Sedici no complaints. Mounted directly to a wall stud. If that’s your choice, drill pilot holes first will help you out significantly(just my little piece of advice)

Heavy duty, borderline overkill

The two mounting screws are huge (#10 screws at least). Heavily suggest grabbing a stud and pre drilling your holes. If using the anchors make sure they're a really tight press fit or the screws will just spin them out. I found out the hard way so you dont have to.
