So far, loving it!

The first time using it was a bit of a shock compared to normal toothpaste. The saltiness was a little overwhelming but after 2 brushes I was completely used to it! Would love to see an option with Xylitol! I don’t bother with a plate, just dip the brushes straight in. Love the zero plastic part as well, highly recommend!

Mint toothpaste powder

The toothpaste powder is an excellent product in terms of sustainability and minimal weight for ultralight hiking. The only reason for losing one star is I am unsure about where it falls in terms of supporting the health of my teeth where traditional toothpastes contain fluoride etc and it is a fairly big adjustment in terms of a somewhat gritty texture and low foam experience compared to typical toothpaste. After ~a week of use I feel it does a great job of cleaning my teeth and the sustainability and non toxic aspects appeal to me. It will definitely go on my next backpacking trip, but I do struggle a little with the texture so it is too early yet to know if it will permanently replace my everyday toothpaste.
