Fast. Feature Filled. Fairly easy setup in spite of hardware differences.
I am now able to get the bandwidth I'm paying for with my ISP. This device has all the features I've come to expect from pfSense and a few that are proprietary to Netgate hardware. Haven't really explored those yet. Setup had the interface hiccup from different hardware, but I had Claude modify the config XML to fix it on the second run.

Very Nice firewall
Was using Pfsense for a Few years on Proxmox. Now with the 4200 I don’t have to worry about bringing my whole network down. East to set up and customize. I have 2Gig AT&T service and the 4200 handles it, no problem.

Worth the Investment
I've been running pfSense for years on a retired PC, and it has served me well. I have recently decided to replace a lot of my aging hardware and wanted to put in a true pfSense appliance with support, rather than migrating to a newer unsupported platform. I could not be happier. The migration was painless and I was up in running within about 30 minutes. I have a complex set of firewall rules, routes, and multiple VLANs and the new device took my config, only requiring me to define which ports on the 4200 would take the role of my old Community Edition build. Very happy to have moved up to a NetGate device!
