Excellent lure - The Champ Swimmer

I tried the Champ Swimmer for the first time during a short visit to Florida several weeks ago. It was on a day rated to have poor fishing per the bass magazine's monthly chart. I fished for 3 hours from the bank and caught 3 bass, and 3 bass got off due to poor hooksets. The last bass I would estimate at 3 pounds minimum, it drilled the bait in about 3 feet out water about eight feet from the bank. I can't wait to try it again in the spring here in Ohio, as well as my next trip to Florida. All 6 of the fish drilled the lure, there was nothing subtle in the bite. Lure is very realistic and swims great.
