Mesa MD12 Dehumidifier Rod

Needs improvement

Very disappointed in how this rod has to be installed I needed it for my gun safe and had to drill a hole in the safe. I get that. The problem is the size of the holeI had to drill to get the cord end into the sale. The cord end has a molded on screw on end and it was almost a 1/2” diameter hole I ended up drilling into the safe to get the cord through. If you make the cord molded into the rod and just have the cord itself without the plug attached it is a very small hole that has to be made. They make plug ends you just snap onto the cord and your all set. I would not recommend this rod for a safe.
