Fried Gluten Ball (Dry Seitan Roll Slices)

Great seitan

I've tried the chunks thus far, and really like the variety. I haven't tried the slices yet. Fast shipping as well. Only one critique, maybe ship in a box? The bubble wrap met with harsh carriers turning some of the precious hard to find product to dust. I appreciated the hand written note with the contact information ect. Will buy again. Thanks

Fried Gluten Ball (Dry Seitan Roll Slices)

These have a texture that's firmer than the kind of seitan that comes in a plastic container with a liquid, but a pleasant firmness, not excessively chewy. I reconstituted them with soy sauce, garlic & ginger in the water but didn't taste much of that so maybe I didn't use enough. Then drained and fried in olive oil (I gotta have my stuff fried!) til I had a nice crispy outside and tossed with pasta & broccoli (with more oil & garlic of course). Would definitely use again, as the fresh stuff can go bad fairly quickly.
