Franks Boots are truly amazing. Best of the Pacific Northwest. First brand new pair of many. Can't wait until the Stitchdown Leather Expo I'll be ordering at least one more pair if not 2 or 3.

Brutal breakin. Ive owned just about every PNW style boot there is. Whites. JK. Nicks. Drews. Even the Iron Ranger. And now Franks. By far this boot is the tuffest break in I’ve experienced. Im not sure ill win to be honest. On the third week and i still cant get past the third hour of a 10 hour shift. Just brutal. Especially for a wedge sole boot. This boot will outlast me. UPDATE. 2 mos later…still not even close to being broke in. Still cant make it past 3 hours. Left heel pinches really bad. Right instep pinches really bad. Sole is getting worn flat already. Ive logged, using my apple watch, 30 miles on these boots. And still no sign of a breakin. This is over the top for a wedge boot. I own other PNW boots, JK Superduty and Drews Logger as an example. Both felt like slippers with in a couple weeks. I went so far as to buy a pair of Whites Perry Hybrid wedge and could wear them all on day one. I dont know what else to say other than good luck if you buy this boot. I hate it.

Very well made boots. Once broken in feel like a slipper but very tough
