Comfortable, hardworking denim for this greenhorn
I was going to a dude ranch for a week and would be riding most days. These pants were comfortable; form fitted where needed and a little room in all the right places. I appreciated the ability to have several options when indicating inseam length. I’m a big girl and was thrilled to find equestrian pants in my size that not only suited my needs but were flattering. Several of the days I rode were in 90 degree weather, but the pants didn’t wet through and any moisture evaporated quickly. If the horse I rode walked through bushes, my legs were well-protected. The silicone “dots” along the inseam kept me from sliding in the saddle and chafing. I felt a little bad for my travel companions who didn’t buy ‘horse pants’ and ended up saddle sore. Thank you Kerrits for comfort on the trail! My souvenirs from this trip are good times and happy memories and not a sore behind! I highly recommend

silicone patches on lower leg: why??
These pants don't really fit my shape well. (I'm wearing a large, which is too big in the seat & thigh, but the medium is too tight in the waist. It appears that they're designed for the 'hourglass figure" I do not possess!) But I do like the overall quality & concept, with one exception: what is the point of the "stick-um" (silicone) on the lower leg? Does any riding discipline advocate gripping with the lower leg? ...Having ridden for years in full (leather) seat tights, I really miss that stick-um on the seat! (I trail ride in an Australian saddle.) Would love to see that feature included in these pants, along with a differently proportioned fit.
