The Toe Thong is a bit Painful

I have another model of Reef sandals and the toe thong is so comfortable and is not noticeable when wearing the sandals. This model, however, has a much more stiff or rigid toe thong and it is very noticeable when you walk. I will give them a little more time to see if they break in, but for now, the material is not comfortable. The other model has a fabric toe thong and you can wear them right off of the rack, no break-in period required. I am disappointed, because though these sandals are cute (color/style) they miss the mark in the Reef signature comfort trait I usually can count on.

My favorite sandals

I love Reef’s cushion slim sandals. I just ordered my third pair. They are lightweight and comfortable and also offer more support than previous flip flop style sandals that I’ve worn. The thickness of the sandal doesn’t make it feel like you’re walking on the ground, but is not too thick. It’s the perfect balance. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.
