Although I ordered a three-pack of 40-gram canisters, they happened to ship me three 100-gram canisters. Luckily, that larger size still fits my primary intended use case and maybe my secondary use case. A 100g canister absorbed about 11 g of water over about a week. (Works, but seems low: A off-brand 40-g canister also absorbed 11 g over same period (but its window clouded over (permanently) upon heating).) Color changed to a greenish yellow. Baking at 250°F restored color to orange (and window stayed transparent).
