It does perform the basic advertised function and is bolt-in and easy to install. However, the reel at the hip (rather than reel at the shoulder) makes for poor usability. When you are buckled in the seat, the reel allows you to lift your hips but the belt prevents you from leaning forward. It's pretty awkward. No returns on installed kits, so by the time you realize this it's too late.
