Post breast surgery, my doctor told me that support, compression and comfort were a big part of my healing properly. This bra meets all of those specifications and more. The wide band that goes underneath the breasts is supportive and provides a comfortable fit for the gauze pads I must wear. The adjustable shoulder straps and the front closure make this one of the easier to put on and most comfortable bras I have ever had. In addition, the fabric is so so soft ...not harsh on stitches, scars or areas healing from drainage tubes. I highly recommend it for anyone recovering from any type of breast surgery reconstructive, cosmetic, etc.
