Arduino PLC Starter Kit

The tutorials are outdated and need work

The hardware is pretty cool and has a good fit and finish. My major complaint is that this aims to be an educational kit. Yet the documentation is poor. This kit is meant to teach PLC. The documentation on the IDE is limited to couple basic tasks like making connections downloading programs to the hardware. I expected to learn more about different types of Ladder Logic recipes and function blocks. I even tried implementing some structured text taken from industry standard examples and the PLC IDE won’t compile it. This is probably better suited for someone who has significant experience in controls and automation. Not a new user.

- High, unexpected border/import fees had to be paid on delivery. - While a MacBook is used in the installation diagrams for the PlC kt, it turns out that Mac isn't supported... while this is written further along, the picture was misleading. + Other than that, great kit, looking forward to play with it once I've installed windows on my Mac to get the dev software to work.
