Arduino Opta WiFi

Better training / instruction materials than we're provided in Arduino Opta plc kit. Leaves too many gaps to getting unit setup and communicating.

Love it so far. I have used the Opta Wifi for a little more than a year. My Opta device was used to build out a cryogenic freezer alarm monitoring system. I am able to monitor 8 freezers with one Opta. The Cloud service seems reliable and my monitoring web application queries the Arduino API a few times every minute to retrieve updates on the alarm states. The software is a bit quirky with a moderate learning curve, but this is probably true of any units such as these. The Opta has been a useful PLC for my purposes and I would purchase another if I ever decide to expand monitoring to additional devices.

Just recently I start building small control motor conveyor, and I like the idea of using another program language instead of ladder logic. I feel ladder logic have some limitation.
