I love it. It is super light the bill is amazing! I am someone who never has one of those clothes measureing tapes However , I have worn s/m in hats that are somewhat fitted and give you that offer. Like a Red Sox hat. I can wear this but it’s a bit lighter than I would personally like it. But that’s me. So I ordered an extra. I wear all my SnapBack hats snapped in the back where it It snap together on top - I do it. even wt each other if that gives u an idea.

Love the Gila PRO Airmesh Boonie

I have tried several different boonie hats over the years. This one is the perfect balance for me. Lightweight and breathable; very comfortable to wear. Unlike some lightweight ones, this hat is firm enough for good sun cover, but soft enough to breath and bend/flex, as well as soft to not create noise. I have about 7. 5 hat size and the XL/XXL is just about right (none too big). Liked enough I had to go buy another.

Best Boonie Hat I've Found

Super comfortable. This hat does not feel tight but it still stay on in the wind. I removed the neck cord as it has a cool little attachment clip that also rubs against my ears and is slightly annoying. But the hat has a tension cord on it so if the wind picks up you can just make the hat tighter. I love Boonie hats for off trail adventures as they are comfortable and when you are plowing through thorns or brush you can just put your head down and force your way through. I have tried a bunch of different boonie hats and I did not really like any of them but this is way higher quality. It's KUIU so of course it's better. It is as cool as a bonnie hat is going to get. It is obviously still hotter than not wearing a hat but it keeps the sun off your face and neck and has a stiff enough brim to push through brush. Great purchase.
