I have other Lucchese ropers that are the same and they do not fit nearly as tight.

A very handsome pair of boots. The black ostrich is beautiful. I wear them for dress. My second pair of Ropers from Lucchese this year. I purchased size 10D (my regular shoe size is 9 1/2 D) previously and they were a little tight across the top of my foot (resolved after breaking them in) so this time I went with 10E. The extra width makes a huge difference in the overall size. Much easier to pull on. One thing I didn’t expect is that the shaft of the boot diameter is larger with the E width. Some of my dress slacks are a little snug over the shaft. Make sure your slacks are “boot cut” for optimal look. Overall, I am very pleased with the Zane style. Great look.
