Bracket system is a very bad design. Screws won’t tighten up in the holes. I just a tiny self tapper and made my own holes. You should keep your design, with smaller holes and use a tiny sheet metal screw. It worked perfect

very good vent covers!

bought 8 vent covers (registers) and really like them. Fit is good, look is really good, price is good too. Only issue is some of the dampers are too loose to stay in place when adjusted partially closed.
