Perfect amount of coverage
So far I’ve been pretty happy with this product. It provides just enough coverage to even out imperfections, but isn’t heavy or full coverage. I am prone to breakouts with many sunscreens, but so far haven’t had any! The one minor drawback for me is it’s a bit shinier than I’m used to, but I solved that with a little face powder. I will definitely buy again.

Wonderful coverage
A full day in the Texas sun is no match for this sunscreen! It goes on light and blends easily. A day spent outside in bright sunshine and my skin was well protected! I would highly recommend this product!

Nice finish but doesn't provide enough sun protection
I'm a fair skinned redhead and will burn without adequate SPF. And spend a fair amount of time outside so I know how to manage sunscreen to avoid that.
I strictly use mineral sunscreens and was excited to try this one because it doesn't have the thick whitish cast that is typical for this type of product. And it does go on nicely, leaving a natural, no color finish. It dries down quickly which is nice for makeup application.
Unfortunately, it doesn't provide as much sun protection as my usual go to sunscreen that is effective but leaves me looking unnaturally pale. I applied a generous amount of the Ilia serum sunscreen, correctly patted it in and let it dry. I wasn't outside for more than a couple of hours and got pink on my face. Not burned but there are other clean sunscreens that would have provided stronger protection. I was really surprised that reapplication would be needed so quickly. And by the way, this was on a trip to the mountains in Northern Idaho, not Hawaii.
This is a great product for those who don't burn easily or for when sun exposure is more limited. Or if you're good about frequent reapplication. I love the finish and will use it for more casual sun exposure. Just be mindful for more intense outdoor exposure.
