FATfreq x Effect Audio Quantum | Universal Planar IEMs

Great energetic IEM burdened by comfort issues.

In terms of sound this is a very special set. Energetic treble, strong mid-bass and surprisingly hefty sub-bass for a planar without much of that planar “zing” and harshness. The different modules do noticeably impact sound and soundstage. Unfortunately the shape of the IEM is a bit unwieldy and caused pain after an hour so as well as consistent hot spots. 5 stars if the fit works for you but beware if you have smaller ears or are particularly sensitive.

I got these earlier this year as I was attracted to the unique design they went for. Incredibly fun set with the tuning modules allowing you to physically change the sound profile even before going into eq!

Well, the Quantum by FatFreq!! This set must be one of the most versatile and fun sets I’ve heard so far. From the low controlled rumbling bass up to the detailed and vast expansive shimmering highs. The soundstage has depth and the layering / separation are truly remarkable. From different sources to cables and tips… different genres at different listening volumes.
