Its just what I was looking for. This 23 1.4 is already a big lens. The stock lens hood takes up way too much space and makes the camera look like a Canon SLR.
This Square hood sits tight woth the focus ring when in autofocus mode. Pull the focus clutch back and you can still read all the distance markings. Its a perfect fit and will give this lens more protection while it gets used and abused.
This lens is my keep on the camera and leave off the lens cap setup. I have a high quality uv filter on lens with this metal hood/armor over the top. Should be pretty bulletproof now.
